Welcome to Pack 603!

Dear Parents of Pack 603,
Summer has come and gone very quickly and we are now all getting back into the swing of school, schedules and homework. We are all looking forward to an exciting Cub Scout year.
Following is a schedule of Pack Meetings:

All Pack Nights will be held at the Cafeteria of Terryville Elementary School. The Blue and Gold Party will be held at the Terryville Fire Department tentatively scheduled for February 28, 2009. The final Pack Night is scheduled for June 26, 2009 at Cedar Beach.
Our planning meetings for the year are open to all parents. If you wish to attend here are the dates. These meetings are held in different locations so they are convenient to everyone:

Weekly Den Meetings are scheduled to begin September 17, 2008 at 6:30 at the Terryville Elementary School cafeteria. Your Den Leaders should be contacting you to discuss plans for the meetings. Following is a list of Den Leaders:

We will be welcoming the new Tiger Den at our first Pack Night. We will also need to rebuild our committee to help guide the Pack and bring the best possible program to the scouts. I will be calling on many of the adults who have been involved in the past years to help assist us in planning and executing a great 2008/2009 Pack Year.
Any suggestions you have please let me know. We are currently planning another trip to Battleship Cove in November, we also plan to visit Terryville Fire Department on September 28, 2008 from 12 to 3PM for their open house, and the Long Island Seaport & EcoCenter is hosting a Family Fun Day in Port Jefferson Village on September 27, 2008. So we are off to a great start, let’s all keep the momentum going!
